Garden State Wakeoff
Posted by: | CommentsThe Garden State WAKEOFF presented by Lake Hopatcong Marine, is set to take place once again on New Jersey’s largest lake! Riders will be battling it out on the water all weekend long in hopes that they will get their hands on the coveted prize, the championship belt! Join us for this unique event where riders will compete for both an individual title and for their team, the North or the South!

Lake Raystown Roundup this weekend
Posted by: | CommentsLake Raystown is a 28 mile long, 200 foot deep lake in central Pennsylvania. On September 12 & 13, the Extreme East Coast Tour is having their “Raystown Roundup” at the Raystown Resort. There is no competition this weekend, just a get-toghther of some of the best wakeboarders from Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Washington DC, West Virginia and New Jersey. The lake is massive so there is plenty of clean water so bring your boat and get ready for an awesome weekend.

Murray Pay It Forward Program
Posted by: | CommentsI got home last night after my softball game to a nice suprise, a brand new Shaun Murray 145 wakeboard! It was shipped to me from eastern PA as part of the Shaun Murray Pay it Forward program. Basically, Shaun sends out a bunch of his boards all over the counrty for people to demo. The board arrives at your house, you ride it for a couple of days, and then you mail it to the next person.

Update: The board has now been shipped off to Rhode Island, but we all had a ton of fun riding it. The new DINE board construction makes the board extremly light. I could barely tell it was a 145. The continous rocker gave the board a constant pop, but it did buck me a little more than I expected. All in all, its a really fun board and everyone should get a chance to try it. Learn To Ride Day at Sandcaslte Waterpark

It was an amazing day on the Monongahela River at Sandcaslte Waterpark where a little over 25 people showed up for the first ever Wakeboard Pittsburgh Learn To Ride Day. Brand new Super Air Nautiques were provided by Skip’s Extreme Marine and free lessons were provided by the Wakeboard Pittsburgh Crew. See below for some pictures and videos form the event. Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta
Posted by: | CommentsThe 31rst Annual Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta was held this past 4th of July. This mega-celebration on the river has an annual crowd of over 50,000 people from the tri-state region who flock to Pittsburgh to see the powerboat racing, live music, watersports show and fireworks display.
Wakeboard Pittsburgh was invited to join Typhoon Tommy’s Jet Ski Freestyle Show for the amazing Watersports Show on the Allegheny River. We preformed 5 very exciting shows in two days. The water was a little rough for wakeboarding, so it was mostly Scarecrows and Tantrums. Luckly, our sky skier, Chip, did not mind the rough water and put on one heck of a show. The Jet Skiers came in last to show off their acrobatics. The highlight was two of Skip’s Extreme Marines Super Air Nautiques making one Super Wake for the jet skiers to trow a 10 foot backflip.
